Yemeni government: Cancellation of an Agreement of understanding between Houthis and Jordanian Food and Drug Administration

The Yemeni embassy in Jordan said on Monday that the Jordanian authorities had canceled a memorandum of understanding between the Houthi group and the Jordanian Food and Drug Administration.

“Yemen Monitor” published on Sunday the Houthis’ announcement of the signing of a memorandum of understanding with the Jordanian Food and Drug Administration.

The embassy said in a statement: The Yemeni embassy followed up on the issue of the so-called Ali Muhammad Abbas, who belongs to the Houthi terrorist rebellion and coup militia, impersonating the head of the Yemeni Drug Authority.

It added: “We have been in contact with specialists in the relevant Jordanian authorities, who have issued their directives to cancel the memorandum of understanding.”

Houthi media said that the memorandum of understanding, signed by “the head of the authority, Ali Muhammad Abbas, and the director of the Jordanian Food and Drug Administration, Dr. Nizar Mahmoud Mheidat, exchanged technical consultations, experiences, information and knowledge related to the standards, laws, regulations, foundations and legislation adopted in the institution and the promotion of scientific, industrial and technological capabilities.”
