Al Qaeda in Yemen confirmed in a statement the killing of one of its leaders after “he was targeted by a motorcycle bomb parked opposite his workplace.”
Abu Yusuf al-Muhammadi al-Hadrami was killed after a motorcycle bomb exploded near his workplace in Marib, east of the Houthi-controlled capital, Sana’a.
The organization said in a statement, “Al-Mujahid (…) Abu Yusuf al-Muhammadi al-Hadrami, one of the members of the Mujahideen of Al Qaeda organization, was martyred today,” vowing revenge, saying, “We will not let your blood go in vain.”
