Security forces in the city of Mukalla, Hadramout Governorate (eastern Yemen), announced the arrest of a wanted man accused of committing two rapes against two minors in the city of Mukalla.
The security forces said in a statement published by the Security Media Center of the Ministry of Interior that “the accused committed a rape crime against a six-year-old minor in the Rokab area more than two months ago, and had fled the city immediately after committing this heinous crime that shook public opinion in Hadramout.”
The security forces indicated that “the accused returned and committed a second rape crime against another child, five years old, in Al-Mukalla area two days ago, but the security forces intensified the search and investigation process for him in various areas of the city; which enabled the men of Al-Deis Security Center, in cooperation with the Rokab Center, to arrest him and hand him over to the Directorate Security, and after investigating him, he confessed to all the charges against him. ”
The security forces confirmed, “that they will not tolerate any criminal who seeks to target the security and tranquility of citizens.”
