UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres called on the armed Houthi group on Friday to respect the staff of international organizations in Yemen.
In statements to Al Arabiya TV, he said that the United Nations is trying to maintain humanitarian aid to Yemen.
In a related context, he stressed that the Houthi group’s targeting of ships in the Red Sea did not help the Palestinians.
He noted that the group’s disruption of navigation caused several problems for countries overlooking the Red Sea, especially Egypt.
