UK Funds 260 Food Baskets Distributed to Displaced People in Hodeidah

The distribution of 260 food baskets to those displaced by the conflict in Hodeidah Governorate (western Yemen) was launched today, Wednesday, with funding from the British organization GRT and implemented by the Tawaasol for Development Foundation.

During the launch, the First Deputy Governor of Hodeidah, Waleed al-Qudaymi, emphasized the importance of these humanitarian initiatives that provide urgent support to citizens affected by the conflict in Hodeidah.

He pointed out that these projects are part of a series of relief projects aimed at alleviating the suffering of the population.

For his part, the Director of the Tawaasol for Development Foundation’s office in Hodeidah, Sadeq al-Sa’idi, indicated that this initiative is part of the foundation’s ongoing relief program, which aims to support needy families. The project will continue for six months and includes the distribution of food baskets to ensure that support reaches the largest possible number of affected families.
