Houthi Leader: We Will Monitor Gaza Agreement and Attack Israel if it retreat

Houthi group leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi said on Thursday that the group will monitor developments in the remaining days before the implementation of a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Palestinian resistance aimed at ending the 15-month war in Gaza and will continue its attacks if Israeli strikes continue.
In a televised speech, he said, “We will continue to monitor developments in Palestine during the three days prior to the entry into force of the Gaza agreement. If Israeli massacres continue, we will continue our operations.”
Al-Houthi said, “Our position regarding the situation in Gaza is linked to the position of our brothers in the Palestinian factions, and we will continue with them in the phase of implementing the agreement (which begins) next Sunday.”
He added, “We will continue to follow the stages of implementing the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, and any Israeli backtracking or massacres and siege, we will be ready immediately for military support for the Palestinian people.”
He continued, “Our military operations will continue in support of the Palestinian people if the Israeli enemy continues with its genocidal massacres and escalation before the implementation of the agreement.”
On Wednesday evening, Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani announced that mediators had reached a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, noting that its implementation would begin next Sunday.
