The Houthi armed group announced on Saturday that it had attacked a US aircraft carrier and destroyers in the Red Sea.
The Houthi military spokesman said in a televised statement: “We have attacked the US aircraft carrier USS Harry Truman and a number of its warships with a number of cruise missiles and drones.”
The Houthi military spokesman affirmed “the high readiness of their forces to confront any American or Israeli escalation against Yemen.”
This is the second time in 24 hours that the Houthis have announced targeting a US aircraft carrier.
