International Forces Seize Over Five Thousand Kilograms of Drugs En-Route to Houthis

The Yemeni Interior Ministry announced that one of the international forces vessels operating in the international shipping lane seized large quantities of drugs that were on their way to the Houthi group north of the country.
The ministry’s Security Media Center stated that “one of the international forces’ boats seized 5,613 kilograms of hashish, in addition to 181 kilograms of heroin and one kilogram of methamphetamine that were on board one of the smuggling ships.”
According to the Yemeni Coast Guard, a vessel belonging to the international forces in international waters intercepted a ship at the end of November on suspicion, and upon inspection, found the quantities of drugs estimated to be worth 4 million US dollars that were en-route to the Houthi group.
