Bahrain Reaffirms Strong Support for Efforts to Achieve a Political Solution to End the War in Yemen

Bahrain has reaffirmed its steadfast support for international and UN efforts to reach a political solution that ends the war and achieves peace and stability in Yemen.

This came during talks between Yemeni Foreign Minister Shae’ al-Zendani and his Bahraini counterpart, Abdullatif al-Zayani, on the sidelines of the 20th Manama Dialogue regional security forum.

According to the official Yemeni News Agency, the two sides discussed the current situation in Yemen and exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual interest.

The Yemeni Foreign Minister emphasized the depth and strength of the fraternal relations between the two countries and peoples, commending Bahrain’s stances, leadership, government, and people in supporting Yemen at various stages. He expressed his appreciation for the excellent preparation and organization of this year’s Manama Dialogue regional security forum.

For his part, the Bahraini Foreign Minister affirmed his country’s steadfast position in supporting the Presidential Leadership Council and its support for regional and international efforts to reach a political solution in Yemen.
