Al-Alimi Arrives in the UAE to Discuss Yemeni Situation

The head of the Presidential Leadership Council in Yemen, Rashad Al-Alimi, arrived in the Emirati capital, Abu Dhabi, on Friday, accompanied by council member Othman Majli, for an official visit.
The official Yemeni news agency reported that Al-Alimi will hold discussions with the President of the UAE, Mohammed bin Zayed, regarding the latest developments in the Yemeni situation and the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, as well as their promising prospects on various levels.
Al-Alimi was received at Al Bateen Executive Airport by the UAE Minister of Justice, Abdullah Sultan bin Awad Al Nuaimi, the UAE Ambassador to Yemen, Mohammed Hamad Al Zaabi, the Yemeni Ambassador to the UAE, Fahd Al-Munhali, and members of the embassy.
Al-Alimi emphasized the importance of this visit to the UAE, coinciding with the celebrations of both brotherly nations on their national holidays, as well as the local and regional changes, and the efforts required to achieve security, stability, and peace in Yemen and the region.
