Yemen’s Prime Minister Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak arrived in Marib province in eastern Yemen on the eve of the anniversary of the glorious September 26 Revolution.

According to a statement from the Prime Minister’s office, bin Mubarak’s visit is part of his field tours to the liberated provinces (from the Houthis) to assess their conditions and understand the concerns and suffering of the citizens, as well as to follow up on the efforts made by local authority leaders to improve service, living, and developmental aspects, in addition to the latest developments in military and security situations.

He will also participate in the celebrations for the Yemeni Revolution anniversaries (September, October, and November) alongside the people of Marib, amid significant public enthusiasm to commemorate the 62nd anniversary of the glorious September 26 Revolution.

During the visit, meetings will be held with local authorities, executive leadership, military and security officials, as well as political, social, and tribal leaders in the province. He will also inaugurate several service and developmental projects in Marib.

In his first press statement, the Yemeni Prime Minister praised the distinguished model provided by the local authority in Marib for reinforcing the state’s authority and its institutions, facilitating citizens’ affairs, and implementing a coherent security plan to maintain stability and thwart the schemes and attempts of the terrorist Houthi militia to undermine security and stability.

Bin Mubarak confirmed that “this approach is what the government aims to establish in all liberated provinces, including the model of social coexistence,” noting Marib’s embrace of all displaced Yemenis from their areas due to the oppression and arrogance of the Houthis.
