The National Meteorology Center forecast, on Tuesday, scattered thunderstorms in several governorates over the coming hours.
It stated that it expects varying intensities of thunderstorms in parts of the governorates of (Lahj, Taiz, Al Dhale, Ibb, Rima, Hajjah, Al Mahwit, and the Tihama Plain).
Additionally, scattered rainfall is anticipated in the governorates of (Saada, Amran, West Sana’a, Dhamar, Al Hudaydah, and Abyan).
Citizens in areas expected to receive rainfall have been warned to avoid valleys, flood channels, and thunderstorms during and after rainfall.
Drivers on mountainous roads have been urged to exercise caution due to reduced visibility caused by rainfall, low-lying dense clouds, or fog.
