Human rights sources and activists reported today, Friday, that the Houthi armed group has abducted journalist Mohamed Dabwaan Al-Miahyi due to his criticisms of the group.
The sources stated, “Houthi gunmen stormed Al-Miahyi’s home in Sana’a and took him to an unknown location,” while activists documented the disappearance of Al-Miahyi’s Facebook page.
Al-Miahyi had recently written an article following his participation in a demonstration in Al-Sabeen Square called for by the Houthis to commemorate the Prophet’s birthday, where he sharply criticized the group’s leader and its sectarian agenda in the country.
