Yemen Monitor / Agencies
Nine Israelis were slightly injured on Sunday morning during a rush to shelters following the launch of a ground-to-ground missile from Yemen towards central Israel.
The Israeli army said in a brief statement: “Following the alerts that were activated a short while ago in central Israel, a ground-to-ground missile was detected entering the country from the east and falling in an open area, with no injuries reported.”
It added, “The missile was launched from Yemen. The explosive sounds heard in the past few minutes are from the interceptor missiles.”
