The military official of the Iraqi Hezbollah Brigades (Iranian-backed militias) called for replicating the joint operations between Iraqi militias and the Houthi group in Yemen, in other arenas.
Abu Ali al-Askari said in a post that pressure should be exerted on American interests in Iraq, especially what he described as “organizations disguised under a civilian cover.”
He pointed out that “the decision of the Iraqi Resistance Coordination to refuse the extension of Al-Basra-Aqaba pipeline, which will serve the normalization countries and the Zionist entity, should be turned into a practical reality, whether in popular events or the positions of loyal deputies to abort this malicious project.”
This Iraqi project faces many Shiite objections, which see it as an entry for normalization with the occupation authorities, and that it “serves the enemy.” This is contrary to the official government position, which considers it an important source for the Iraqi economy.
He also indicated that “the joint operations between the Islamic Resistance in Iraq (Iranian-backed militias) and the Houthis are evidence of the great development of the axis of good, and we look forward to increasing their pace and replicating them in other arenas.”
From time to time, the armed Houthi group announces the implementation of joint operations with armed Iraqi militias and factions against targets that the group claims are inside the occupied Palestinian territories and “Israel”.
