Yemeni military sources reported that a large, allegedly American, reconnaissance drone was shot down in Al-alam area, in the desert between the provinces of Ma’rib and al-Jawf, which are under the control of the Yemeni army. The cause of the crash is still unknown.
Footage on social media shows soldiers from the Second Brigade of Road Protection, affiliated with the Yemeni army, talking near the wreckage of the large reconnaissance drone.
According to the soldiers, the plane was shot down in Al-aIam area, which is a front line between the Houthi group and government forces east of al-Jawf province and north of Ma’rib city.”
