“Yemeni Meteorology” expects a rise in temperatures

The National Meteorological Center in Yemen predicted on Sunday evening a rise in temperatures ranging from (37-39 degrees) in desert and coastal areas in the upcoming days.
The center indicated in its weather bulletin, sunny to partly cloudy weather with the possibility of scattered showers accompanied by thunder at times in parts of the provinces of “Saada, Hajjah, Al Mahwit, Amran, Sana’a, Dhamar, Raymah, and Ibb.”
It also highlighted sunny to partly cloudy weather on the coasts in general and hot weather on the western coastal plains, with strong winds on the south-western coast, the entrance to Bab al-Mandab Strait, and the west of the Gulf of Aden reaching up to 32 knots causing sea disturbance and stirring up dust and sand on the coast and the adjacent areas. Additionally, it expected hot sunny weather during the day with active winds causing dust and sand stirring in desert areas.
The National Meteorological Center and Early Warning Center cautioned citizens in the north-western highlands expecting rainfall to take caution and not be present in flood valleys and riverbeds during and after rainfall.
It warned fishermen, seafarers, and sea-goers in the south-western coast and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab of the sea disturbance and high waves, as well as warned citizens on the western coast and adjacent inland areas of dust and sand stirred up by active winds.
Citizens in desert areas and coastal plains also warned of hot weather, dust, and sand stirred up by the winds.
