The UN envoy to Yemen, Hans Grundberg, expressed his hope on Monday for Yemen’s approach to peace with the advent of Ramadan.
Grundberg said in a post on the X platform on the occasion of Ramadan, “I extend my best wishes to all Yemenis on the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan, hoping that it will be a month of peace”.
He added, “The month of Ramadan is characterized by the values of compassion, meditate, and unity, and I hope that these values will inspire everyone and bring Yemen closer to peace”.
