Jordan allows to import foodstuffs from Yemen
The Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply decided to allow the import of foodstuffs from the Republic of Yemen.
The Ministry stipulated, in a circular, a copy of which was reviewed by Ammon, that each consignment be examined by the concerned authority and that the number of random samples examined from each consignment be increased.
The Ministry of Health confirmed, in another circular, that it had been decided to allow the import of Fish and marine products, grains and legumes, honey, canned food, spices and seasonings, and dried foods, from Yemen.
The decision came at the recommendation of the Epidemiology Committee, the Ministry said.
